Two quotes of Abraham Lincoln's simple wisdom

"Things may come to those who wait, but only things left by those who hustle."

"He does best in God's great world who does his best in his own little world."

One of the best men to ever serve our country I think. Theodore Roosevelt, George W. Bush and Lincoln are my favorite Presidents.

Hi Lydia! That second quote pretty much sums up what I was thinking about earlier today about my dishwashing habits...

*extra, extra! Read all about it on my blog!*

George W. Bush?? Haven't you heard that the whole of America is going to the dumps with him as president? :) Now that was a joke, but I still can't say I'm such a big fan. The lesser of two evils? Maybe it's not that bad. We'll have to talk about it sometime. (Now don't get me wrong, as far as our choices, so to speak, go, I'm all for Bush. Not like I can vote anyways!)

Lydia
I know this has nothing to do with the post.
I REALLY like that picture of the girl in curl rollers! Is that you?

Wait a minute! Don't twist my words. I most definitely did NOT say that I didn't like George Bush. In fact, here's a quote from my comment: "...I'm all for Bush." But my little brain's wheels are turning, and I'm thinking about it. So don't just write me off as a bad person here!!

There are too many debates going on about this subject already--how 'bout when I see you next time, okay? :)

And again, please people, don't read me wrong. I'm glad that Bush is our president, really. I didn't mean to make it sound like I was some real liberal person, or anything like that. (And I think you know me well enough, Lyds, to know that. :)

One thing that is nice about public school, it's always interesting to see how the Demicrats try to defend themselves. I like middle school better then elementary school 'cause there is more Republicans there. I remember one kid telling me about a cartoon he was making about blowing him (President Bush) up with a missle. He thought it was funny, until I told him I was Republican. THen he got will quite, probaly thinking that is why I'm so wierd.
One kid I know is a Democrat so whenever we talk about all there mistakes he ,like, starts mutterin to himself getting all angry at the Republicans in the room.
And Erica I can see how your hesitant about Bush, but aren't all humans well, humans? Otherwise we'd have an UFO as a president. He does do a nice job of evangilizing though.
Also great comments Lydia.

Whew! I was a little worried there...I don't want you all to turn me out of your house next October!! Of course that wouldn't happen. :) But I do want to be able to sleep in Lydia's room! :)

Hey, I got your message, Lyds. I was out riding (okay, what else would I be doing?), and then it was about 9:45pm when I realized you had called. Tonight we had practice, and tomorrow we're going out to Corry's, but hopefully I can call you maybe Wednesday after nine.

Love you!
