I was born four months to late to vote in this vastly -important election.
Why so important you ask? Because Ladies and Gents, if Obama wins this election, we are going down. This is the man who wants to "spread the wealth around." *Clears throat* excuse me? That wouldn't be SOCIALISM would it?????? If he's elected, our fore-fathers will roll over in their graves.
Honestly, I'm a bit nervous. I always am on election nights. 8 years ago I felt sick to my stomach the whole day and hardly slept that night. 4 years ago I was smart and spent the night at Lillie's house. This year I'm going to Heather's for a bible study and then I'm going to shut myself in my room and read the nicest un-political book I can find. Why so important you ask? Here's just one example of Jesus caring for his people in amazing ways:
And when it was evening, his disciples came to him, saying, This is a desert place, and the time is now past; send the multitude away, that they may go into the villages, and buy themselves victuals. But Jesus said unto them, They need not depart; give ye them to eat. And they say unto him, We have here but five loaves, and two fishes. He said, Bring them hither to me. And he commanded the multitude to sit down on the grass, and took the five loaves, and the two fishes, and looking up to heaven, he blessed, and brake, and gave the loaves to his disciples, and the disciples to the multitude. And they did all eat, and were filled: and they took up of the fragments that remained twelve baskets full. And they that had eaten were about five thousand men, beside women and children. ~Matthew 14:15-21
Last night we read this as a family. Luke asked "How did Jesus do that?" We told him it was a miracle. A miracle. You know some people say that the time for miracles is over. But I don't agree. I'm not frightened of the future because I believe in God, and I believe in Miracles.

I was born 4 years to late...but actually, I wasn't. Because, whatever the course of events are going to be, they don't need my vote to happen. God knew that. :)
I did!
You sound like me when it comes to election day. I plan on reading something very fun and lighthearted right after I'm done on here! Get my mind off this!
And I was born a week too late to vote at the last election, so this was my first!
*gu glunk gu glunk gu glunk*
You hear that? Thats the sound of our fore-fathers rolling over in their graves!
*takes a deep breath* ok don't panic, this is all part of Gods plan right?
remember: no matter what happens, JESUS IS LORD! Great post, Lydia!
